Jessie Denver is the Lead Advisor for ZEV Markets at GO-Biz, guiding California’s transition to low‑ and zero‑emission transportation across all sectors and mobility modes. She leads cross‑agency and industry partnerships to accelerate technology deployment, address market barriers, and inform forward-looking policy and investments.
Jessie currently co-chairs the state’s Central Delivery Team for freight infrastructure and the Innovative Clean Transit Zero‑Emission Bus Task Force, serves on the state’s Interagency Working Group on Advanced Air Mobility, and is an appointed member of the South Coast AQMD’s Technology Advancement Advisory Group.
She brings two decades of experience in climate and clean energy policy, with prior leadership roles at Ava Community Energy, Northern California’s largest public power provider, the City and County of San Francisco, and San José where she served as the City’s first Energy Officer. She’s held faculty roles at UC Berkeley Extension and San José State University, and holds degrees from Antioch University and Cal Poly Humboldt focused on energy and climate policy and planning.
